“Then the LORD said to Noah, ‘Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation.’” (Ge 7:1)
What a testimony from the Almighty! Of all the people of the earth God found one man who was pleasing in His sight. He saw that Noah was righteous before Him.
Yeshua said that the end times will be like the days of Noah. “As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” (Mt 24:37)
“The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. … the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.” (Ge 6:5,8,11-12)
Out of all the inhabitants of the earth, God took note of Noah. The whole earth was wicked, but Noah stood out as being different.
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.” (2 Ch 16:9)
God’s eyes are watching over all the earth. Do you stand out in this wicked generation before God as being different like Noah did? May we walk in righteousness before God and be pleasing in God’s sight in this wicked and corrupt generation. What an example Noah is for us today. Noah and his family were different. The only ones in the whole earth at that time. Let’s not follow the crowd in what is evil.
